The relationship between The Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association (EMRA) and Integrated WealthCare began in 2002, when Shayne Ruffing began developing EM specific financial strategies for some of the EMRA board members. Since that time, Shayne has authored numerous articles for the association, been a featured lecturer at multiple Scientific Assemblies and hosted a number of events for emergency medicine residents across the country.

In 2006 Shayne worked with EMRA to develop the only approved EMRA Disability Insurance Analysis program and became the association’s preferred member benefit provider for disability insurance.

In 2007 Integrated WealthCare developed The Confident Transition Plan©, a proprietary financial planning system designed to provide clarity and confidence to the financial transition between residency and practice.

The members of Integrated WealthCare have worked with literally thousands of emergency residents and fellows across the country and around the world, advising and assisting them in critical areas of insurance and financial management.
